A Plea to All of Newsvine

There are changes a-foot. And, they aren't completely for the better. I have been a part of the Newsvine community for, going on, 4 years now. When I first came here, this site was mainly liberal, so there weren't many problems of which I'm about to speak of.

- Spirit, morality is not decided by the government. You may feel that going against the government in this situation is immoral, but I feel that the government telling me what I can, and cannot put into my body, in my own home, while not harming anyone besides [possibly] myself.

- Britain attacked us at one point, too. We're on pretty decent relations with them nowadays, wouldn't you say? We all have some pretty messed up history, and the future should change and not old rivalries be held onto..

- So.. because Jon Stewart says "What the fuck are you talking about?", it means he has no argument? And, sorry, tango, regardless how immature you find The Daily Show's audience, probably the only members who find any normal profanity funny are those who are 15.

- GrimCreeper, I suggest watching some interviews with Stewart (Check out FORA.tv to find some), or some of the big interviews he has done on The Daily Show. Unlike what many are brought up to think, just because profanity is used, doesn't mean that intelligence is limited.

- I think his time on crossfire backs up what you are saying that he sees a major flaw in how news is presented, particularly on the 24 hour news networks. Jon Stewart addressed this with his interview with Jim Cramer from CNBC.
